Hawaii Convention Center by MLKFOTOWelcome to PodCamp Hawaii.

We are planning this amazing event in a very short amount of time! We have several ways to connect with us so you can be sure not miss any of the details! Whether you can come in person to beautiful Hawaii (and we sincerely hope you can) or whether you join us via live stream during the event, we plan to showcase the beautiful people of Hawaii as well as educate you about the power of the “social web.”

Whether you are new to blogging and podcasting or an expert, you will discover a rich world of warm, friendly, smart people and will be able to network with some of the internet’s most forward thinkers.

Remember though, this is an UnConference! That means the sessions are all free and anyone can speak. There is no top-down style, and there is just as much going on “in the hallways” as in the sessions. Be prepared for incredible learning, dialog, and networking as hobbyists, professionals, educators, musicians, ad execs, gov’t agencies and nonprofits all come together to learn, share, show, and tell.

Please watch as we plan this event, using ourselves the best tools the web can offer us, and be prepared to tell your story, come October 24 - 25th, at the Hawaii Convention Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Just check the upper right column on the Home Page to find us all over the web.

  1. Aloha Podcamp Hawaii guys, girls & geeks..

I am very interested in your event as a local hawaii Web 2.0 evangelist here at UH Manoa, but I cannot find anywhere on your site for costs to attend; actually sign up for the event; volunteer to help; or see a schedule of what you’re going to offer….???

Need any more speakers with great smiles, music tech skills, apple tools and awesome bookmarks?

    Thanks.
Dr. Barbara Payne McLain, UH Manoa

  2. @Barbara - Of course we want you! The registration site will be up shortly. We’ve posted the wiki where you can sign up to speak, and be sure to join the mailing list - there is a link in the upper right column on the home page.

  3. Aloha PodCamp Organizers!

How fantastic it is that PodCampHawaii.com can be vewed LIVE around the globe!

Everyone in Hawaii should put out the word.
    Email it!
    Twitter it!
List it as the place to be on your Facebook page! Your Myspace page! Your Bebo!

Oh - just give all your friends a skype or a call…
And tell them to join us!

Double Diggs and much Kudos to the PodCamp organizers!

    Mahalo!
