Volunteer Meetup: August 30, 1 pm

Location: Kakaʻako Park (covered tables down by the water, main building)

All interested people are welcome to attend! This is an unconference, which means it is volunteer-driven and no one is paid. Our meetings and transactions are transparent and open to the public. We depend on the big hearts and generous support of a wide group of people and companies. This is your event to help shape and deliver!

Agenda

• Discuss Sponsors onboard and pending; identify more and determine who will be the contact person
• Discuss WordCamp sessions and planning
• Discuss Volunteer staffing needs for days of the event
• Discuss the Lodging offers received from three area hotels
• Discuss how to do more Outreach using our various contacts and networks
• Discuss Speakers and identify topics we want to see covered
• Discuss possible Social Media Summit for the day before, targeted at the business community
• Discuss Sponsor Reception on Thursday night to help our sponsors network with and meet the people behind Podcamp Hawaii
• Open Mic - to discuss your ideas and questions
