If you would like to volunteer during the event, please sign up here. If you are unfamiliar with editing a wiki, please e-mail podcamphawaii [ at ] gmail.com instead and I'll add you to the list. We are getting clearer on our needs for volunteers so hopefully it will be easier for you to step up and join us! The Team Leaders of Kyle Nishioka, Judi Clark, Shane Robinson, Ed Morita, and Roxanne Darling welcome your participation.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • It is a great way to get to know people, build your network, and build your personal brand.
  • You will be able to meet the speakers and have conversations more easily.
  • You will learn some of the behind-the-scenes stuff for running an unconference.
  • You will be loved by us enormously!
  • You will be given a special Podcamp Hawaii Staff t-shirt if you sign up for at least 2 slots below.

Volunteer Activities:

  • Registration: Sit at the desk and pass out name tags, check people off, help walk-ins register.
  • Session Monitors: Sit in the back of the room; hand out evaluations; monitor session time.
  • Floaters: Be on call for general assistance as needed; work with Kyle Nishioka, Venue Manager.
  • Setup and Cleanup Crew: Help us move our stuff in and out.
  • Beach BBQ Crew: Help us move our stuff in and out; serve food; cleanup; work with Ed Morita, BBQ Wrangler.
